A Day in the Life of the Rocha Family

Sometimes creating custom content and Sim stories make me want to curl up into a tiny ball and suck my thumb. It can get really crazy so I try to take days off by just straight out playing a normal Sim family. Okay, they can't be too normal since I based them a little off of my husband and me -- but hey -- we can be semi-normal when we want to be, lol. ^_~ All of these pictures are just random snapshots for fun. The most I've done is just filter them to death to cover up the fact that I had the 'walls' down for most of them. :P

The Rocha family sitting at the table. The twins, Fionn and Faolan, are two days from being teenagers while Jonathon is about 5 away from becoming an adult. Marisa (not pictured) is about to become a child in 1 day!

 He's about as close as it'll get for my husband's likeness. I used an actual photo and mapped it onto a face mask to get the 'authentic' look and feel. The hair is from someone at TSR I forget but most likely NeptuneSuzy since I love all of her hairstyles and download them like hell, lol. In the SimWorld, James is in the Law Enforcement career track and currently is at the top and is Captain Hero!

Here Jonathon surprises me by tucking in his brothers. Isn't that just the sweetest when they do that out of the blue? 

Again another surprise! Jonathon is potty-training Marisa. He doesn't seem too grumpy about it either but that pleasant nature disappears when he had to empty the thing, lol!

Ahem. I like to indulge in fantasies so the hubby has the muscle mesh from MTS2. Here he's answering the phone when he discovers whom is on the other line that bratty, non-intelligent teenaged girl from the previous entry (The Encounter)

James Sim: "Hello?"
Teen Sim: "Is Jonathon there?
James Sim: "He's at school...where you should be!"
SFX: CLICK

The Rocha family are filthy rich thanks to James' hard work and constant obsession with the money tree... Okay, maybe I should just mention that my Sim is a retired Super Villainess...she likes to make counterfeit Simoleons in her spare time. ^_^;

I was telling my husband(IRL) that if we were rich as our Sims we would still be eating Grilled Cheese sandwiches just like them. It's one of our favorite foods

My Sim is always pregnant. It's all the James' Sim fault too. The man is a family Sim and he wants 6 Grandchildren for his lifetime want and 10 kids as a daily aspiration. I locked the daily aspiration and so far they have 5 children in total. Here he is trying to persuade my Sim to 'Try for baby' in the hot tub. She's really less than thrilled about the aspect. X_X

James Sim: I'm not trying to get you prengant. What gave you that idea?
My Sim: Oohh it could be my imagination or is that your hand trying to cop feels all over my womanly area?
James Sim: (*Gasp*) How could you say such things?
My Sim: Easy, because I know you're a closet pervert. -__-

Faolan: Mami, is it okay to make faces at the fishies? Won't it scary them?
My Sim: Whah? Of course not, silly thing! Look son, the worst case scenario is that they keel over and float to the top. In that case, we just flush them down the toilet.
Faolan: Will that take them to fishie heaven?
My Sim: Uh, yes...straight down to Sewer heaven.

 It's Family 'Smustle' time!

 

 LOL! Faolan's look is just too precious. I swear, the moves are something out of the Michael Jackson 'Thriller' dance video. (*Shudders*)

My Sim: It couldn't be...I just felt something kick...
Fionn: Mami you look fatter.
My Sim: That's it! You're disowned! ô_ô

Uh-oh, looks like Jonathon brought home another 'friend'. Her name is Beatrice Stratton and amazingly is very pretty for a NPC Simmie. Will she survive the day at the Rocha household? o_O

Jonathon: Exactly how loaded are you, Beatrice?
Beatrice: Why I'm uber rich! Triple Simoleon rich in fact but uh... why do you ask?
Jonathon: CHA-CHING!

Meanwhile outside the house -- Foxe (The son of Turles and Naria - Sim story coming soon)is showing just how evil he can be by stealing the newspaper. Oyye.

Jonathon: No reason. None at all. Hey did I mention that you look especially beautiful in that tacky flapper hat...

Need I explain what the boy is doing? Ahhh he makes my Sim so proud. ^_________^

James Sim: SO now that you're a part of the family Beatrice...how about sending your mother-in-law and I to the Alpines?
Beatrice: ... <--she's speechless

Fionn: Santa, can I have some Phen-Phen for my Christmas present?
Santa: Hohoho! No sonnie boy that won't do it. How about a Nordic-trac instead?

Here are the twins all grown up into teenagers. Jonathon is a day away from being an adult so off to college he must go! By the way, I have never had such an ugly Sim before. Faolan turned out allright but Fionn? UGH!

 Fionn: I changed my appearance a bit. What do you think Jonathon? I don't look so freakish right?

Jonathon: (*twitches*) UH...no! No you don't! Great job!
Fionn: Hey thanks I was worried there a minute.

NPC Sim: Okay I paid you the ten Simoleons so when can I see him?
Faolan: Right now, just check it out - the real life Munkee Boy!

 (*Sigh*) It was inevitable. She ended up pregnant again.

 Jonathon grew up into a young adult. He looks like a business tycoon sort of guy too! 
~Cell rings~ 
Jonathon: Hello?
Beatrice: Why did you leave for college and not take me with you?! I thought we were in love?!!
Jonathon: But Beatrice baby, we are in love! Why else did you want to use all of your money to put me through University?
Beatice: I thought I was going too. T_T
Jonathon: Tough nookies. I just used you. Neener neener!
